Michelangelo Setola

Michelangelo Setola (* 1980 in Bologna ) is an Italian comic artist .

Setola is a member of Canicola and has published in their anthologies as well as in the magazines Orang , Black , De Brakke Hond , Strapazin and Glömp , mostly together with the writer Edo Chieregato . His book Bar Miki was published by Edition Fumetto . Setola also illustrated Lo Straniero , Hamelin and Sugo . Together with the Finnish artist Amanda Vähämäki he created the Souvlaki Circus for Buenaventura Press . His characteristic style are blurred, "dirty" but detailed pencil drawings, with which he repeatedly reveals the examination of natural motifs. In 2006 he won first prize at the Fumetto comic festival .
