Michele Benedetti (born December 17, 1984 in Parma ) is an Italian diver . He starts in artificial and tower diving as well as in 3 m and 10 m synchronized jumping.

Benedetti won the bronze medal in the 10 m synchronized jumping at the European Championships in Budapest in 2006 together with Francesco Dell'Uomo . It was his first international medal. At the European Championships in Turin in 2009 , he won bronze from the 3 m board.

He took part in the World Championships in Montreal in 2005 and in Melbourne in 2007 and finished sixth and seventh in the 10 m synchronized competition. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 , he was eliminated from the 3 m board as 20th in the preliminary fight.

Benedetti is a sports soldier in the Navy .
