Juan Carlos Sánchez Martínez (born July 27, 1987 in Calvià , Balearic Islands ) is a Spanish football goalkeeper .

biography

Juan Carlos, who was born in Mallorca , first played in his youth for the club in his hometown, the CD Playas de Calviá . In 2003 he was signed by Villarreal FC and played in the club's youth. After three years in youth, he played for the club's second team, Villarreal B, from 2006 . With the second team he rose directly in the first season in the Segunda División B and in the 2008/09 season even in the Segunda División . Meanwhile, he made his Primera División debut against UD Almería on April 13, 2008 after being substituted on after Diego López was sent off in the 17th minute.

For the professional team, he also played a game in the UEFA Europa League and stood between the posts five times at the Copa del Rey . After he was loaned to the second division club Elche in the 2011/12 season, he returned to Villarreal in the summer of 2012, which had been relegated to the Segunda División in his absence. With Villarreal, however, he was able to rise directly back to the Primera División.

In summer 2015 he moved to the second division club Albacete Balompié . With Balompié, however, he had to relegate to Segunda División B in 2015/16 .

For the 2016/17 season he moves to the second division Real Oviedo .
