Michele Giambono (born: Michele Giovanni Boni ; also called Michele di Taddeo Bono * around 1400 in Venice ; † 1462 ibid) was a Venetian painter of the early Renaissance and mosaicist .

Artists can already be found among Giambono's ancestors, such as his grandfather Giam Bono , who was a painter from Treviso . From around 1420 Giambono began to be artistically active. The art of Giambono was characterized primarily by its Gothic coloring, he is considered one of the last representatives of this art direction. His art, which was permeated by the influences of the Renaissance, shows a relationship with the works of artists such as Jacobello del Fiore . His works were particularly influenced by Gentile da Fabriano , who worked in Venice from around 1409 to 1414.

One of his most important mosaics is the birth of the Virgin in St. Mark's Basilica.
