Michelle Wiley

Michelle Wiley (born December 7th ) is an American rhythm & blues and jazz musician ( vocals , piano ), who also worked as a film composer .

Live and act

Wiley presented the single "I Feel So at Home Here" in 1977 (with the B-side "Feel Good"). In 1978 she was involved in John Handy’s album Handy Dandy Man . She then lived in Europe for several years; In 1981 she appeared in Paris with Archie Shepp , heard in two songs on his album My Man (Tribute to Sidney Bechet ) . In Berlin she gave a guest performance in the cabaret theater La Vie en Rose ; on her return to the United States, she had a two-year engagement at Harry's Bar in The Helmsley Palace Hotel in New York City. With Bill Conti she wrote the theme song for the film An Unmarried Woman (1978); she also composed music for the film Rendezvous . As a background singer she toured with the band Steely Dan and worked in New York studios as a jingle singer and singing double for actors.
