Mickaël Roche (born December 24, 1982 in Papeete ) is a Tahitian football goalkeeper who is currently under contract with the Tahitian first division club AS Tefana .

Career

Mickael Roche started his career in Tahiti with AS Jeunes Tahitiens . On July 1, 2000, he moved to the second team of AS Monaco in France. In the following years he played in lower class French teams, whereupon he moved back to his youth club AS Jeunes Tahitiens on July 1, 2006. There he played another two years and then he moved to league rivals AS Dragon. With AS Dragon he won the Tahitian championship in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons and the trophy in 2013. Roche has been playing for AS Tefana since 2014 .

National team

Mickaël Roche made his debut for the Tahiti national team on August 27, 2011 at the age of 28. Since then, he has played twelve official internationals, including the game against Spain in the 2013 Confederation Cup , in which he was able to save a penalty against Fernando Torres despite a 10-0 defeat .
