The Mickowsee is to Sternberger lakes belonging Lake in the municipality of Kuhlen-Wendorf in the district Ludwigslust-Parchim , Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . It has an approximate length of around 2.1 kilometers, a width of 900 meters and an average depth of 0.7 meters. The Warnow flows through it in a south-north direction. The banks are completely surrounded by a reed belt. The Mickowsee is used as a fishing water and is not suitable for swimming because of the shallow depth and the muddy lake bed. Before the Second World War , the lake was used as a bombing practice area for the Wehrmacht . In the southern part there is an upstream bay. The lake is on the Warnow water route.

On the north bank is the manor house Nutteln , a historic building from the 19th century.

The Mickowsee and its bank areas are part of the Warnowseen nature reserve .
