Micky Green (* 28. June 1984 in Sydney as Michaela Gehrman ) is an Australian pop singer and runway model.

resume

Micky Green has Dutch and German roots. Her parents divorced and Green lived with her mother in Sydney. At school she played as a drummer in a band and taught herself to play the piano. On the side, she began to write her own song lyrics and recorded her first songs with the GarageBand computer program .

She left Australia at the age of 18 to model in Europe. In addition to modeling, she also continued to pursue her music career by continuing to write on her songs. She currently lives in Paris . Her debut album White T-Shirt was released on September 4, 2007 under the Polydor France record label . The album is produced by Renaud Letang , who has already worked with Feist and Peaches . Critics praised their first album for the simple, sensitive tones and its clear, sleek sound, even if other instruments were used than just the soft rhythms, which are probably a holdover from Micky Green's GarageBand days. For her tour of France in the spring of 2008 with almost 20 gigs, she also learned to play a little guitar. On ARTE's OneSHotNot show , she performed with a pink Hello Kitty guitar alongside Welsh singer Duffy , artists Manu Chao and Geoffrey Oryema and the band Supergrass .

Because of the success of the album, Micky Green decided not to pursue the work as a model in the near future.
