Tenement houses Gartenstrasse 12/14 (Radebeul)

The tenement houses at Gartenstrasse 12 and 14 are in the original district of Alt-Radebeul in the Saxon city of Radebeul . The two two-story apartment buildings are each built free-standing . The top floors are each fully developed and illuminated by numerous dormers .

The facades of the "cautiously conventionally designed" buildings are built in the neo-renaissance style. The plastered buildings are structured by cornices and the windows are framed by sandstone walls with roofs . These have meanwhile been simplified at No. 14, the plaster was also renewed there in a simplified manner and the cornices reduced compared to the original condition.

The main view is designed symmetrically with a three-storey central risalit on which an attic with a small triangular gable extends over the extended attic. In front of the first floor of the risalit there is a balcony , which has been lost in the case of No. 12.
