Player career

The beginnings

Born in Madrid, Miguel Pérez started his career as a footballer with the lower class club CD Onda . He then went to the Madrid suburban club Getafe FC . With Getafe he rose to the Segunda División . Nevertheless, he changed clubs and went to CD Numancia . After a midfield place in the first season, Miguel Pérez rose with his new team in 2003/2004 in the Primera División. After only one year, the club was the penultimate but also relegated again. Miguel Pérez was always a regular in his three years at Numancia.

The last few years

After relegation, Miguel Pérez went to the second division Gimnàstic de Tarragona . With the Catalans he rose in his first season. Since he was used only seven times in the entire promotion season, he preferred a change and went to the first division relegated Deportivo Alavés . Even with the Basques he had no regular place and was only used very rarely. This changed with his move to UD Levante in summer 2008. When relegated, he was one of the regulars in the 2008/09 season . It was only in the 2009/10 season , at the end of which he rose to the Primera División for the third time, that his appearances became less frequent. In the 2010/11 season he was injured at the beginning of the season and was unable to regain his place in the further course. He ended his career in 2011 without another assignment.
