Miguel Bover Pons (born February 14, 1928 in Palma , † January 25, 1966 there ) was a Spanish cyclist .

Miguel Bover was a professional cyclist from 1948 to 1962. In 1953, 1954 and 1955 he was the Spanish champion in the single pursuit . His greatest success was winning the Tour of Andalusia in 1956. In the same year, he won a stage of the Tour de France and was the first Mallorcan to do so. In 1962 he won the six days of Madrid , together with Miguel Poblet .

Just four years after retiring from active cycling, Bover died of circulatory failure while hunting.

Miguel Bover Pons was the son of cyclist Miguel Bover Salom ; his brother was Juan Bover Pons , also a cyclist.
