Miguel Bover Salom (born October 12, 1896 in Son Sardina, Palma , † October 10, 1977 there ) was a Spanish cyclist .
Miguel Bover Salom was a professional from 1917 to 1926. During these years he was five times Spanish champion. In 1920 he won the national title in road racing . In 1917 and from 1924 to 1926 three times in a row he was the Spanish champion in the standing race .
Miguel Bover Salmon was the father of the two cyclists Miguel and Juan Bover Pons . Juan Pons was the Balearic Sprint Champion . The son Miguel, multiple Spanish champion in the single pursuit and winner of the Tour of Andalusia in 1956, died in 1966 of circulatory failure while hunting. Another son, Pedro, had a fatal accident in 1940 on the Tirador Velodrome ( Palma ) in a two-man team ride .
