Miguel Torruco

Miguel Torruco (born January 17, 1914 in Ocosingo , Chiapas , † April 22, 1956 in Orizaba , Veracruz ) was a Mexican actor who first appeared in front of the camera in 1951 and died in 1956 as a result of a heart attack .

Life

Torruco first appeared in front of the camera in the dramatic musical Negro es mi color , which premiered in 1951 . Until his surprisingly premature death at the age of 42 years or less, Torruco took part in a total of 22 films. Among his most famous films include the crime - thriller El mensaje de la muerte (1953), the drama Casa de muñecas (1954) and the Mystery film La sospechosa (1955) and under the direction of Luis Buñuel resulting feature film The River and Death ( Original title: El río y la muerte ).

In addition to his acting career, Torruco was a professional pilot .

When he died, he left behind his wife María Elena Marqués , who was also active in the acting industry, and two children.
