Mikael Lind (born February 20, 1972 in Gävle ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player .

Career

Mikael Lind began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at Brynäs IF , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Elitserien in the 1990/91 season , where he remained unpunished in a total of nine games. In the following three years, the attacker played for city rivals Gävle HF in Division 1 , which was still second-rate at the time , before playing again for Brynäs in the Elitserien from 1994 to 1996. With the club he failed in the 1994/95 season in the finals of the Swedish championship at HV 71 Jönköping .

In the summer of 1996, Lind moved to the second division Timrå IK , with whom he started in the 1999/2000 season in HockeyAllsvenskan , which had replaced Division 1 as the second highest division, and rose to the Elitserien, in which he spent another three years with his team Before he was signed by his ex-club Brynäs IF in the summer of 2003, for which he has been regularly on the ice ever since. Following the 2008/09 season , he ended his career.
