Mikajel Mikajeljan ( Armenian Միքայել Միքայելյան ; * July 10, 1999 ) is an Armenian cross-country skier .

Career

Mikajeljan started internationally for the first time at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun . There he finished 95th in the sprint. In the following year he won 35th place in sprint, 28th place in cross and 26th place over 10 km freestyle at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer . At the European Olympic Winter Youth Festival 2017 in Erzurum , he came in 30th place in sprint, 25th place over 7.5 km classic and 15th place over 10 km freestyle. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in February 2017 , he again achieved 95th place in the sprint. In January 2018 he became Armenian champion in the sprint and over 10 km in Ashotsk and took 51st place in the sprint, 33rd place over 10 km classic and 23rd place in skiathlon at the U23 World Ski Championships in Goms . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he ran 83rd place over 15 km freestyle and 72nd place in the sprint.
