Mike Dean (referee)
Michael Leslie "Mike" Dean (born June 2, 1968 on the Wirral Peninsula ) is an English football referee . He has been active in the Premier League since 2000 and has whistled for FIFA since 2003 . He is a member of the Cheshire County Football Association .
Dean started his referee career in 1985, first as a referee in the Northern Premier League , then as an assistant in the Football League in 1995. In 1997 he became full referee . At the end of 2012, he resigned as a FIFA referee.
