Mike Fleet
Mike Fleet (actually Michael Anthony Fleet; born February 14, 1938 ) is a former British middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth in 1962 , he finished fifth over 880 yards .
He set his personal best over this distance of 1: 48.9 min (corresponds to 1: 48.2 min over 800 m) on September 1, 1962 in Brighton .
Martyn Rooney is one of the athletes he coached as the Croydon Harriers youth coach .
