Mike Pacheco
Mike Pacheco is an American percussionist ( bongos , conga , timbales ).
Live and act
Pacheco released three albums under his own name on the Tampa label in the 1950s , first Bongo Session (1955, with Shelly Manne and Carlos Vidal ); In 1957, Bongo Skins and Bongo Date followed . He also worked with jazz musicians such as Pérez Prado and Stan Kenton , on whose albums Standards in Silhouette (1959) and Live at Barstow 1960 he participated. Pacheco also played with Charlie Mariano , Oscar Moore and Pete Rugolo . Between 1979 and 1986 Pacheco worked for Ray Avery's Rare Records shop in Glendale, California .
