Mike Supancic (born September 30, 1967 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian cabaret artist .

Career

As early as 1985, during his time at the commercial academy in Bruck an der Mur , Supancic was a member of the cabaret group Knüppel aus dem Sack , which, however, soon became smaller and finally dissolved completely. After the group broke up, he started his solo career. In 2004, he appeared in the film slugs of Michael Glawogger with. In 2013 he appeared as a funeral director in Renate Woltron's melodrama Wall in front of the wall .

Supancic dropped out of commercial college a year before graduation. He is married, has a son and lives in the 15th district of Vienna .

In the spring of 2016, the original "Lagerhaus Reggae", written by Mike Supancic and his co-author Hannes Vogler , broke the 2 million click mark on YouTube (including other versions and covers, more than 2.4 million clicks, as of September 2016) and is thus by far the most frequently viewed Austrian cabaret song.
