Hannes Vogler

Hannes Vogler (born May 19, 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author and teacher.

Live and act

Hannes Vogler grew up in Gloggnitz , studied geography and German at the University of Vienna (Mag. Phil.) And has been teaching since 1980, first at the HTBLuVA Vienna 5 Spengergasse in Vienna and since 2003 at a university course for foreign students.

He has contributed to several Viennese cabaret groups (including Menubeln , HosenTräger Unltd., Giftzwerge), above all he has been a permanent co-author of cabaret artist I Stangl since 1981 and a permanent co-author of cabaret artist Mike Supancic , with whom he has since written around 30 solo programs , for both u. a. were awarded the Salzburg bull .

In addition, he wrote mainly satirical books, plays and columns (including for the magazines Extrablatt and Solidarity).

Trivia

Hannes Vogler was and is also politically and politically active, u. a. in the 1980s as Lower Austrian Chairman and Deputy Federal Chairman for the Young Generation (SPÖ) as well as in the context of citizens' initiatives and small publishers.

From 1999 to 2001 he also performed as a cabaret artist and presented the duo program Men Are Better Indians together with I Stangl !

In spring 2016, Lagerhaus Reggae, written by Mike Supancic and himself, broke the 2 million click mark on YouTube , making it the most viewed Austrian cabaret song.
