Mikko Sirén
Mikko Sirén (born December 31, 1975 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish musician and composer . Sirén is the drummer for the metal bands Apocalyptica and Emigrate . He works in the fields of metal , rock and classical music .
biography
Sirén received his first drum lessons at the age of six. He has been part of Apocalyptica's live shows since 2003, but has only been an official member since December 2005. In 2009 he recorded the drums for Elias Viljanen's third album Fire-Hearted . He also composed the soundtrack for the video game Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne with band member Perttu Kivilaakso .
Sirén holds a degree in jazz music . Sirén also writes his own blog Ilmasto on hot (in English: The hot climate ), in which he calls for climate protection .
He has been an official member of the band Emigrate since 2013 . He also plays in the Finnish bands Megaphone and Kengurumeininki.
