Milda Lauberte
Milda Lauberte (born October 7, 1918 in Vildoga, Livonia Governorate (today: Ratnieki, Līgatne district , Vidzeme ); † October 19, 2009 in Riga ) was a Latvian chess player .
Lauberte played a total of 20 times for the Latvian women's chess championship between 1937 and 1963 , winning the title in 13 tournaments and finishing four times second, once fourth, once sixth and once tenth.
In 1937 she played in Stockholm for the women's chess world championship , where she achieved third to fourth place together with the German Sonja Graf among 26 participants. At the 1939 Women's World Chess Championship in Buenos Aires, she was sixth out of 20 participants.

Milda Lauberte was married to the Latvian chess player Lūcijs Endzelīns from 1940 to 1944 , and thus the daughter-in-law of the linguist Jānis Endzelīns . The marriage produced a daughter named Māra.
