Milena Rašić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Милена Рашић ; born October 25, 1990 in Pristina , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian volleyball player .

Career

Milena Rašić has played in the Serbian national team in the middle block position since 2009 . She became world champion in Japan in 2018 and took part in the Olympic Games twice, reached eleventh place in London in 2012 and won the silver medal in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 . Moreover Rašić won in 2010 and 2011, the European League , was second in the 2015 World Cup and 2011 and 2017 European champion . Rašić played for the following clubs: Sumadija AV Belgrade , Dinamo Pančevo and RC Cannes (multiple French champion and cup winner, Champions League runner-up). She has been with Vakıfbank İstanbul since 2014, where she became Turkish champion, Champions League winner and club world champion. Rašić has received several individual awards at various international competitions ("Best Middle Blocker", "Best Attacker").
