Volleyball European League 2011
The 2011 season of the European Volleyball League was the eighth edition of the competition. For the first time, the competition for the women's national teams took place with twelve participants. The men played from May 27th to July 17th. The women played from May 27th to July 16th.

The preliminary round was held in three groups, each with four teams. On one weekend, the teams played twice in one place, so that there were a total of six home and six away games for each team. The three group winners qualified for the final four alongside hosts Slovakia .
