European Volleyball League 2005

The 2005 season of the European Volleyball League was the second edition of the competition. It started on June 3rd and ended on July 24th. Russia won the title for the first time.

The preliminary round was held in two groups of four. The group winners and the best runner-up in the group should qualify for the Final Four alongside hosts Russia. However, since Russia was group winners themselves, both runners-up progressed.
