The Belarusian national women's volleyball team is a selection of the best Belarusian women players who represent Belaruskaya Federazyja Valejbola ( Belarusian Беларуская федэрацыя валейбола ) at international tournaments and internationals. The team was formed in 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union .
history
The Belarusians took part in a European volleyball championship three times in a row from 1993 to 1997 , finishing eighth twice and ninth once. At the EM 2007 it was only enough to 16th place and at the EM 2009 to 15th place and only at the EM 2013 to 12th place. The Belarusian women have never qualified for the volleyball world championships or the Olympic games. The World Cup and the World Grand Prix have so far also taken place without Belarusian participation.
