The Ukrainian national women's volleyball team is a selection of the best Ukrainian women players represented by the Ukrainian Volleyball Federation at international tournaments and internationals. The team was formed in 1991 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union .

history

World Championship

Ukraine finished ninth in the 1994 volleyball world championship . Then she could no longer qualify.

Olympic games

In their only Olympic tournament to date, the Ukrainian women finished eleventh in Atlanta in 1996 . Ukraine could not qualify for Beijing 2008 .

European Championship

Ukraine achieved their greatest success when they participated in the European Volleyball Championship for the first time , beating Italy in the game for third place. Two seventh places followed. In 1999 the Hungarians were missing, in 2001 they finished fourth. They finished the 2003 tournament in ninth place.

World cup

Ukraine has not yet played in the World Cup .

World Grand Prix

At the World Grand Prix Ukraine was not involved.
