The Montenegrin national women's volleyball team is a selection of the best Montenegrin women players who represent Odbojkaški Savez Crne Gore at international tournaments and internationals.

history

Montenegrin teams have been participating in international competitions since independence in 2006. Before that, the volleyball players were part of the Yugoslav national team and most recently in a joint team from Serbia and Montenegro .

World championships

Montenegro has never qualified for a volleyball world championship. In qualifying for the 2018 World Cup , the team only won one game.

Olympic games

Montenegro has never participated in an Olympic volleyball tournament.

European championships

Montenegro has not yet participated in a European volleyball championship . In qualifying for the European Championship 2017 , the team reached the second round and managed two wins there, but was eliminated as third in the group.

World cup

On Volleyball World Cup Montenegro has not previously been involved.

World Grand Prix

The Volleyball World Grand Prix has also taken place without Montenegro so far.

European League

Montenegro took part in the competition for the first time in the 2016 Europaliga . In the preliminary group, the team was tied with Spain and France , but retired as the group bottom. In 2017 Montenegro will take part again.
