The Montenegrin men's national volleyball team is a selection of the best Montenegrin players who represent the Montenegrin Association Odbojkaški Savez Crne Gore at international tournaments and internationals. Montenegro has been independent since 2006.

history

World Championship

Montenegro played twice in qualifying for a volleyball world championship . After the team failed in the second round in 2010 , the end of the 2014 World Cup came in the first qualifying round.

Olympic games

Montenegro has never been represented at an Olympic volleyball tournament .

European Championship

Since independence, Montenegro took part in qualifying for a European volleyball championship three times , but failed to prevail in 2009, 2011 and 2013.

World cup

Montenegro has never been to the World Cup .

World league

The world league has so far taken place without Montenegro.

European League

Montenegro took part in the European Volleyball League twice. When they first participated in 2013 , the team finished second behind the Czech Republic and finished fifth overall. In 2014 , Montenegro celebrated its first title win since independence. The team prevailed as group winners against Macedonia and defeated the preliminary round opponent Greece in the final .
