The Milkov Point (English, Bulgarian Милков нос Milkow nos ) is a striking and rocky headland on the Davis Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 11.5 km east of Havilland Point and 8.5 km south-southwest of Wennersgaard Point as an extension of Chanute Peak on the east bank of Lanchester Bay .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2009 after the Bulgarian pilot Radul Milkow (1883–1962), who carried out the first aerial bombardment on October 16, 1912 with Prodan Taraktschiew (1885–1957) during the Balkan Wars .
