The Mill Creek ( English for "Mühlbach") is a stream in Rockbridge County in the US state of Virginia .
It has its source near the Decatur settlement next to the freeway ( Interstate 64 and 81 ). The creek first runs southeast along the freeway, then flows northwest past Grassy Ridge . After just under 14 kilometers it flows east of the city of Lexington into the Maury River .
In addition to this watercourse at Lexington, another Mill Creek flows north of Rockbridge County . This flows into the Calfpasture River , a source river of the Maury River. There is also a small creek in the county called Alone Mill Creek .
