Miloš Đelmaš

Miloš Đelmaš (born June 4, 1960 ; also Milos Djelmas , Cyrillic Милош Ђелмаш) is a former Yugoslav football player .

Đelmaš played in his native Yugoslavia for Partizan Belgrade , with whom he became Yugoslav champions in 1982/83 and 1985/86 .

In the 1991/92 season Đelmaš moved from France from OGC Nice to Hannover 96 in the German 2nd Bundesliga . Committed during the winter break, he only made five league appearances in his first season in Hanover due to an injury. On his competitive debut for Hanover, he had to be replaced after 80 seconds with a strain. In his second game for Hanover, the semi-finals in the DFB Cup against Werder Bremen, he provided the template for Hanover's 1-0 lead and converted on penaltiesthe first penalty. In the end, 96 won 6: 5 on penalties and was in the final. In Berlin against Borussia Mönchengladbach on May 23, 1992 Hannover won 4: 3 with Đelmaš, who was again successful on penalties, and won the 1992 DFB Cup .

In 1992/93 and 1993/94 he made another 39 games in the second Bundesliga for Hannover 96 and scored six goals.

After his active career, Đelmaš worked as an assistant coach at Hannover 96 and took over the role of interim coach for two games at the end of the chaotic 1994/95 season from May 31 to June 18, 1995. He succeeded Peter Neururer , who had fallen out with the sporting leadership of Hannover 96 and was on leave shortly before the end of the season and was banned from the stadium. Đelmaš reached after a defeat in Rostock in the last home game of the season a draw against Waldhof Mannheim.
