Mimi Island , also called Mimi Islet , is a small coral island in the northeast of the Torres Strait Islands archipelago . The uninhabited island is 800 meters long, 290 meters wide and lies in the west of an almost circular reef platform .

The island is located in the south of the Bourke Islands , nine kilometers southeast of Aukane Island . There is a smaller coral reef four kilometers east of Mimi.
