Mimmo Rafele

Mimmo Rafele (actually Domenico Rafele ; born October 29, 1947 in Catanzaro ) is an Italian screenwriter and film and television director .

Life

After graduating in philosophy, Rafele became assistant to Bernardo Bertolucci in 1970 , and later to Gianni Amelio . With the latter he worked on some scripts and acted as its assistant director. In 1973 Rafele made his debut Domani , which was shown in the sperimentali per la TV series. After further film scripts and another television film, he shot his only cinema work in 1979, Ammazzare il tempo based on the novel by Lidia Ravera . To this day, only scripts have followed, almost always for romantic-dramatic TV productions. These include numerous great successes with the public.

In 2009 the novel La forma della paura , written with Giancarlo De Cataldo , was published (2012 as the time of anger ).
