Min Shan ( Chinese  岷山 , Pinyin Mín Shān ) is a mountain range predominantly in central and northern Sichuan in the Chinese provinces of Sichuan and Gansu with a length of 500 km in north-south direction.

The highest peak is in the east of the circle Songpan County location Xuebao thing (雪宝顶) ( 5588  m ).

The mountain range is the watershed between Huang He ( Yellow River ) and Chang Jiang ( Yangtze River ); the rivers Min Jiang and Jialing Jiang have their source .

The Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve and the Huanglong Valley are within it. It is the refuge of many rare animals, including the giant panda .
