Mina (born October 4, 1993 in Munich ) is a German singer. She gained fame through a private video on video platforms such as MyVideo and was then signed by Warner Music Germany .

biography

In her hometown of Munich, she attended a private international school . At the age of 13, she introduced herself to a recording studio near Augsburg, whereupon Mina was allowed to sing the song How the Angels Fly , which had already been completed by the producers . In addition, a video was produced which gained popularity on platforms such as MyVideo and YouTube . The video for How the Angels Fly has been viewed over 5 million times on MyVideo and is the most frequently viewed video on the video portal. Warner Music Germany signed Mina and released the track on November 16, 2007 as a single. The album Learn to Fly was released on December 14, 2007. Her single "I Will Not Let You Down" was first played on Viva Neu ; the song was the official song for the film Juno in Germany and was played there in the credits. The music video shows scenes from the film, among other things.

Since May 2008 Mina has been hosting the program Mädchen.tv for the youth magazine Mädchen .
