MatchWare MindView Pro / Business (formerly OpenMind) is a commercial application software for creating mind maps .
MindView allows the creation and editing of so-called business maps . MindView offers numerous functions for visualizing or visually linking Mind Map content and additional files (attaching any files).
The creation of so-called business maps is originally based on the paper-and-pencil method " mind mapping ", but offers the typical computer advantages of quickly changing relationships ( drag & drop of branches).
Up to MindView 5 there were the versions "Pro" and "Business", whereby the latter also contained a Gantt view and could therefore also be used for task and project planning . There is now only one version with all options
You can switch between the following views at any time:

- Timeline
- Gantt chart (business version)
Mind maps can be exported in the following formats:
- website
- Image file
- Power Point
- Outlook
- Microsoft Project
- XML
- In addition, direct sharing with a free player.
In addition, projects from Power Point and Microsoft Project can be imported.
The mind map can be synchronized with the task list in Microsoft Outlook . Project plans can be imported into MS Project and further processed there.
