Mindaugas Puidokas

Mindaugas Puidokas (born March 19, 1979 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian left-wing politician and Seimas member.

Life

After graduating from the Vincas-Kudirka Middle School in 1997 , Puidokas completed a bachelor's degree in political science with distinction and a minor in business administration at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas . In 2009 he did his doctorate at the Kauno technologijos universitetas on the subject of “Industrial learning in the value chains of companies in the Baltic Sea region ” (lit. Industrinis mokymasis Baltijos jūros regiono įmonių vertės kūrimo grandinėse ).

From 1995 to 1999 he was a correspondent for the daily Kauno diena and newspapers such as Kauno žinios and Vytautas Magnus . From 2001 to 2002 he coordinated projects at the VšĮ “Socius Sanus” institution. From 2002 to 2003 he worked for the media company UAB “ Laisvas ir nepriklausomas kanalas ” (LNK) as an editor. In 2004 he completed his master's degree ( international relations and diplomacy ) at the Vilniaus University . From 2004 he taught at the Kauno technologijos universitetas , from 2013 as a lecturer .

On 23 October 2016 he became the Seimas as LVŽS -Kandidat chosen . In 2019 he announced his participation in the 2019 Lithuanian presidential election .

He is a member of the LVŽS . In 2019, his membership was suspended at his request.

Puidokas speaks English and Russian and has mastered the basics of the Polish language.
