The Mindelheimer Zeitung (MZ for short) is a local newspaper with the circulation area of the city of Mindelheim and the eastern district of Unterallgäu (former district of Mindelheim ). The seat of the newspaper is in Mindelheim, in Augsburg the paper is printed. The sold circulation is 12,811 copies, a decrease of 16 percent since 1998.
history
The Mindelheimer Zeitung has been published in Mindelheim since 1881. The publisher is the Hans Högel publishing house, which has been performing this task for five generations. Since 1951, the newspaper has been published in cooperation with the Augsburger Allgemeine and also receives the supra-regional part (cover part) from it. The MZ is thus a header .
