The Zurzach Mineral Spring , also known as Zurzacher Mineral Spring or Zurzacher , is a mineral spring containing Glauber's salt in Bad Zurzach , Switzerland . It is also used as a thermal spring in the Bad Zurzach thermal baths . The water has a natural temperature of 39.9 ° C and comes from a depth of 430 m.

history

While searching for rock salt in 1914 when drilling the Swiss soda factory, a warm spring was found by chance at a depth of 416 meters, which gushed artesian from the borehole. The tests showed that it was excellent mineral water. The economic situation made development impossible at first.

The doctor Martin Erb was convinced of the healing properties of the water and mobilized interested parties in order to be able to generate funds for another drilling. On September 5, 1955, the time had come: from a depth of 429.6 meters, the 39.9 ° C warm water shot out of the primary rock .

The Bad Zurzacher Glauber's salt source relieves symptoms of rheumatism, especially signs of wear and tear on the spine, joints and soft tissues. Bathing also has a positive effect on movement and circulation disorders, residual paralysis in the central and peripheral nervous system and circulatory disorders. Also suitable for drinking cures for gallbladder, liver and stomach disorders.
