The Minerva Glacier is a tongue-shaped glacier in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . In the Cook Mountains it flows in a northwesterly direction into the valley between Tentacle Ridge and Gorgons Head .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after the Roman goddess Minerva .
