The Ficquelmont Ministry of the Austrian Empire, chaired by Prime Minister Karl Ludwig von Ficquelmont , was in office from April 19 to May 4, 1848.
history
After the rapid resignation of the first Prime Minister of the Austrian Empire, Franz Anton von Kolowrat-Liebsteinsky, followed as Prime Minister Karl Ludwig von Ficquelmont , who, however, as a member of Metternich's party and a proven friend of Russia , was forced to resign through demonstrations at the beginning of May. He was succeeded as Prime Minister Franz von Pillersdorf , whose opposition to the ruling system around Metternichs was known.
