Minna Nieminen (born August 31, 1976 in Lappeenranta ) is a former Finnish rower .

As a teenager, Nieminen was a very promising cross-country skier. It wasn't until the late 1990s that she began rowing and was soon noticed by coach Veikko Sinisalo, who used her for a team in the lightweight double sculls. Her first partner was Ilona Hiltunen , with whom she reached eleventh place in 2002 and eighteenth place in 2003 at the rowing world championships. After the two failed to qualify for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , Nieminen rowed on alone. At the world championships in the same year she made third place in the lightweight single.

Her new partner was Sanna Stén . With her she won third place at the World Rowing Championships in 2005 and even second place in 2007 . This made the two of them the most successful rowers since Pertti Karppinen's successes in the 1980s.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she and Stén won the silver medal in the lightweight double scull. After Nieminen could not qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games, she ended her career.
