Minuspol is a rock band from Osterode am Harz in the district of Göttingen, founded in 2016 .
history
prehistory
During their school days together, Marc Philipp Ginolas, Jeremias Hampe, Marc Braukhane, Julian Diener and David Krzysteczko founded the band “Empty Words” in 2012. Until the beginning of 2015, the inexperienced youngsters in the region around Osterode am Harz played their own songs in various clubs public events. The band then paused for a year and a half to concentrate on new projects and came back together with almost the same line-up in early 2016 under the name Minuspol. David Krzysteczko immersed himself in his studies in theater and drama and was replaced on bass guitar by Marco Mührenberg.
2016–2018: First singles and winner of the audience award in the federal final "Local Heroes"
At the beginning of 2018 the singles Our Summer, Our Night and My God were released. In the same year, Minuspol competed in the Local Heroes band competition , won the state finals in Hanover on October 20, 2018, and qualified for the national finals on November 10, 2018 in Salzwedel . Here, too, some of the winners should come from the Harz region: Minuspol won the audience award in the national final “Local Heroes”.
2019: First album
In March 2019 Minuspol will release the debut album " Held von Morgen "
