Miquel Adrover i Barceló

Miquel Adrover i Barceló (born December 1965 in Calonge ) is a Spanish fashion designer.

Life

He lived on the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca and became a self-taught fashion designer. In 1999 he presented his first collection at New York Fashion Week . He was also represented at this fashion week in 2000 and 2001 . In 2000, he won the Perry Ellis Prize from the Council of Fashion Designers of America . The fashion he designed is described as having a Mediterranean influence. In New York he worked with the designer Sebastià Pons . He stayed in New York until 2004, but then moved back to Mallorca.
