Miranda Mikadze

Miranda Mikadze ( Georgian მირანდა მიქაძე ; at the World Chess Federation FIDE Miranda Mikadze ; born September 18, 1989 in Batumi ) is a Georgian chess player .

At the U14 European Championships for women in 2003 in Budva , she finished second behind Anna Musytschuk . At the U16 World Championships for Women in 2005 in Belfort , she also received the silver medal behind Anna Musytschuk.

She plays club chess in Georgia for Nona Batumi . With the club, she won the women's European Club Cup in 2014 and 2015 . She also played in the Turkish team championship.

Since June 2007 she has held the title of International Women's Champion (WIM). She achieved the standards for this in July 2005 at the U16 World Cup in Belfort, in April 2006 at the I & A Club Cup in Tbilisi and in October 2006 at the U20 World Cup for women in Yerevan . She achieved a fourth WIM standard in March 2007 at the 64th Georgian Women's Individual Championship in Tbilisi. She achieved all four standards with over-fulfillment. She has been the Grand Master of Women (WGM) since March 2016. She achieved the norms for this in August 2008 at the U20 World Cup for women in Gaziantep , in January 2010 at the 67th Georgian Individual Championship for Women in Tbilisi and in May 2015 at the Individual European Championship Women in Chakwi .

Her Elo rating is 2269 (as of March 2020), her highest to date was 2375 from September to December 2010.
