Miriam Deforth

Miriam Deforth (born March 17, 1974 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German presenter .

Life

After studying theater , film and television studies at the Ruhr University in Bochum , Deforth worked as a freelance presenter, actress , singer and author, among other things for the Hessischer Rundfunk on ARD, as a program presenter and presented programs such as "Herrchen Gesucht", the " KENO show ”and carnival formats. The Hessian AIDS Gala, the awarding of the Hessian Founder's Prize, cooking and kitchen events and the German make-up championship were and are live events that Deforth accompanied.

With her cover band “Slapshot” Miriam Deforth toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland as front woman and singer for 16 years and was able to make single productions such as “Schlechte Mädchen” or “Anders” accessible to a wider audience with producer and composer Robert Kohlmeyer Among other things, by achieving second place at the awarding of the German Rock and Pop Prize. Classical training in piano and singing at the Dr. Hoch's Conservatory in Frankfurt, as well as ballet lessons, led Deforth to appear on the theater stage in musical productions. In 2014 she played the funny "Hulda Holle" in the "Snow Queen" for 14 days. Since January 2018 Miriam Deforth has been the nature park ambassador for the Kyffhäuser nature park in Thuringia .

Deforth lives with her two children in Tönisvorst .
