Miriam Hannes

Miriam Hannes (* 1973 in Düsseldorf ) is a German lawyer . She is a judge at the Federal Social Court .

Live and act

Hannes studied law at the University of Heidelberg , where she passed her first state examination in 1998. There she was in 2001 with the work of the principle of trust in arbeitsteiligem behavior for Dr. iur. PhD. She completed her legal clerkship at the Hamburg Higher Regional Court in 2002 with the second state examination. Afterwards, Hannes worked for an international law firm in Munich. In 2005 she joined the higher justice service of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and was employed at the Hamburg Social Court. From 2007 to 2009 she was seconded to the Federal Ministry of Justice as a research assistant . In 2017 she was promoted to judge at the Hamburg Regional Social Court .

In June 2018 Hannes was elected judge at the Federal Social Court. She took up her new position on January 1, 2020 and was assigned to the 13th Senate , which is primarily responsible for statutory pension insurance .
