Miriam Messling

Miriam Meßling (born January 4, 1973 in Wuppertal ) is a German lawyer . She is a judge at the Federal Social Court .

Live and act

Meßling studied law at the universities of Trier and Münster . According to their legal state it was in 2001 in Munster with the European law work "The solution legal transaction bonds in the German and Italian private law" to Dr. iur. PhD. From 2002 to 2005 she worked as a research assistant at the Federal Constitutional Court . In 2004 she joined the Baden-Württemberg judiciary and was initially a judge at the Social Court in Karlsruhe , later she moved to the Social Court in Freiburg , where she was appointed judge for life in 2007. From 2009 to 2011 she was seconded to the Federal Social Court. In autumn 2012, Meßling was appointed judge at the Baden-Württemberg State Social Court . However, from July 2012 to March 2013 she was seconded as a rapporteur to the service law senate of the Baden-Württemberg Administrative Court. In April 2013 she moved to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice , where she headed a department for personnel matters.

Meßling has been a judge at the Federal Social Court since October 2016. It was assigned to the 7th and 8th Senate, which are responsible for social welfare and asylum seeker benefits law.

Messling is married and has two children.
