Mirja Kutzer

Mirja Kutzer (* 1974 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian.

Life

From 1993 to 2001 she studied Catholic theology and German at the University of Regensburg and Pontificia Università Gregoriana (degrees: Diploma in Catholic theology; Magister artium in German and Catholic theology; Magister for teaching at grammar schools in the subjects of Catholic religious studies / German ( University Vienna , 2008)). From 1996 to 2000 she worked as a freelance editor at the Funkhaus Regensburg and the Catholic radio editors of the Diocese of Regensburg . From 1997 to 1998 she was a student assistant at the chair for systematic theology - dogmatics and the history of dogmas ( Wolfgang Beinert ) at the University of Regensburg. From 2000 to 2008 she was a research assistant at the Institute for Dogmatic Theology ( Bertram Stubenrauch ) at the University of Vienna. Since 2003 she has been a speaker at the Vienna Theological Courses and the Theological Correspondence Course. After completing her doctorate on July 19, 2005 in Catholic Theology in Vienna (supervisor: Bertram Stubenrauch), she was a research assistant at the Chair of Systematic Theology ( Saskia Wendel ) at the University of Cologne from 2009 to 2016 . From 2009 to 2013 she was a scholarship holder of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (APART scholarship). After the venia docendi was granted on August 8, 2014 in the subject of Catholic theology / dogmatics with the habilitation thesis The Speech of God in the Language of Love. For an investigation on the threshold of systematic theology and cultural studies , she represented the professorship for systematic theology at the Institute for Catholic Theology (Faculty 02 Humanities and Cultural Studies) at the University of Kassel from 2014 to 2016 . She has been working at ORF / OE1 - Religions Department since 2015. Since 2016 she has been a professor of systematic theology at the Institute for Catholic Theology (Faculty 02 Humanities and Cultural Studies) in Kassel . In August 2016 she turned down the professorship for Catholic theology with a focus on systematic theology at the University of Giessen .
